About the STOP (Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients) Program

The STOP (Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients) Program is a province-wide initiative that delivers smoking cessation treatment and counselling support to registered clients of ADSTV who wish to quit smoking

Is this program for me?

  • Must be a current tobacco smoker

  • Must be 16 years of age

  • Must be willing to engage in the smoking cessation program

  • Must be a registered client of ADSTV

  • Not suitable for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding

What To Expect

  • Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is provided free of charge to clients who wish to quit smoking
  • NRT products that are available include: patch, inhaler, gum, and lozenge
  • Clients can receive up to 26 weeks worth of products

Referral Procedure

This program is available for registered clients of ADSTV. Ask your counsellor or group facilitator for a referral or more information.
