Becoming a Volunteer:
Volunteers play an important role in the provision of service to ADSTV’s clients. They enhance services and assist staff through their contributions and we believe clients, staff and volunteers all benefit from this interaction.
Volunteer involvement at ADSTV enables members of our community to acquire knowledge, learn new skills, provide role modeling and contribute to our community by helping others. Involving volunteers increases awareness and helps create a community-wide understanding of addictions in general.
We are committed to ensuring that your experience as a volunteer is a good one. We want you to feel valued and that you have learned and benefited from your experience as much as we have. For that reason, we try very hard to match each volunteer with the right volunteer role. Sometimes we have openings for volunteers right away, other times it takes a bit longer to find just the right role.
If you would still like to complete the application form so that we have your information on file, please do so. Just note that we may not have an opportunity for you at this time, however, we will keep your application on file for six (6) months. Thanks for your patience.
