This program provides access to mental health and/or addiction support services in French.

This page is also available in: Français

The System Navigator

The System Navigator will help you access the services of mental health and addiction professionals including psychiatrist consultations, if needed. You will be linked with French-speaking professionals in person or through the Ontario Telemedicine Network as needed.

These services include:

  • Comprehensive mental health and addiction screening, assessment and treatment planning.
  • The development of an individualized plan of care.
  • Case management services.
  • Linkages to appropriate healthcare and other support services.

By gaining the support of and working with a variety of local organizations and healthcare professionals, this program aims to develop a support network for delivering services and building links to provide clients with continuing care.

Ontario Telemedicine Network

The Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) can help connect you to the care you need, where and when you need it, in French.  Using innovative technology, it assists in streamlining the healthcare process by eliminating travel, and enabling you to access services in the language you are most comfortable with.

OTN enables access to care for more than 100,000 mental health and addictions patients annually, and studies of the effectiveness of telemedicine appointments versus traditional face-to-face appointments in psychiatry have found that the outcomes were equivalent.

OTN makes using telemedicine easy and efficient, providing the resources and services required to help support the delivery of care.
